How do I link an HTML & CSS Page together to make a webpage?

Great question! This is assuming you have followed the previous tutorials and now you want to separate the files into a .htm or .html file and a .css file.

To link these together, you will want to use the following code:

<link href="path-to-css-file.css" rel="stylesheet/css">

This code will go inside your <head></head> tags. So it would look like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Title of page or website</title>
<link href="path-to-css-file.css" rel="stylesheet/css">
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

It is as simple as that. Once you include the file, all of the CSS you listed in your .css file will show on your HTML page. If it doesn’t for whatever reason, we can help you troubleshoot here, on our discord server, or on our subreddit!
